I can’t tell you how many camping chairs I’ve tried over the years. Tall chairs, small chairs, chairs of all shapes and sizes. At the end of the day however…hated at least something about all of them. Then came Overland Expo West 2019. The show of all shows for us expedition style off-roaders and campers. A place where people can come learn all about the lifestyle, and brands can come out to show off their coolest product and hangout with their customer.
I was walking through the show and came across the Big Agnes booth. Knowing the brand from REI, I’ve always wanted to try some of their stuff out and I happen to of been looking for the perfect camping chair for me! - Build to take my weight – I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gently sat in a chair hoping it doesn’t break in front of everyone while I sit in it.
- stain/weather proof material – It is dirty and often messy out there and the last thing I want to do is have my camping chair looking like a crime scene. it has to be durable and easy to clean.
- Compact – Even though I want a tall chair, I also want a chair that will break down into the smallest, packable, chair bag I can find.

One of my favorite features though…it packs down so tiny! I love it!
