Finding a Good Replacement Seat Was tougher Than I Thought

Finding a good replacement seat for my Jeep wasn’t as easy as you might think it would have been. I needed them to be comfortable for long seat time, built tough and durable, recline (because I’m built like a Sasquatch), NOT cause me to refinance my house to afford them, and of course look great. That criteria lead me to three options, and one of those options turned out to be a dumber and dumber idea every time I looked into it.

So, now I’m down to two choices. I have actually tried both at different times in the past so I was pretty educated on either seat I chose. Well as you can see I chose the Corbeau Trailcat

The Trailcat’s comfortability was the deciding factor for me. The long seat back keeps me comfortable and locked in. The low seat bolster pads make it easy to climb in and out, and they are durable, easy to wipe down and keep clean. The seats are a bolt in replacement seat, although depending on the vehicle you may have to use one of the many options for seat mount brackets Corbeau offers. The install is very easy, and the Trailcat is designed to fit a harness if you do not use your factory seat belt.
